D* - Channel 250 (FX)

Noticed channel 250 lit up today as FX with no programming listed.

My first thought is that it's tied to the baseball that FX is running tonight (Red Sox/Yankees), but that doesn't make much sense off the top of my head...

Yep. It appears that it was an "alternate" channel thrown up just for the baseball games. I would guess that it was showing each game on each of the FX Networks and blacking out the one that was out of market.

In Atlanta we had the Cubs on the local Fox, and the BoSox on FX 248. 250 was "unavailable in my area"

Yep, last night FX showed Red Sox/Yankees on Channel 248....FX alt Channel 250 had the Marlins/Cubs game.
