Why did you guys do away with the "Last 5 Posts" section (or whatever it was called) on the DBSTalk home page? I really liked that feature.

Sorry! I probably should have posted the previous post in the Admin forum.

You must not have liked it that much since you just now noticed they were gone. ;)

Scan the Admin forum for posts around Sept 5th and you'll find all you need to know.

Danny R,
I noticed they were gone quite a while back but it just got to me enough that I thought I would ask about it.
Thanks for leading me to the answer.

And Chris, thanks for the URL. It would have made it a lot easier but I had already followed Danny R's advice and found it.

Chris,

I know you took down Scott's version of the page, but is it possible for you guys to do your own front page with last 5-10 posts?

We'll probably do that as soon as the final version of the new board software is released. If we were to do it now, we'd just have to rewrite the code again when the release happens.

Mark is correct. During one of the software upgrades, the last 5 posts using Scott's code stopped working anyhow. When the final release of the software is done, we will include the feature. Should be very soon.
