in your opinions what is the best free mmorpg out there ?

I've been Playing APB a lot. It's a more skill-based MMORPG than most, in that you do level up, and get better equipment, but it's still possible for a brand-new person to take out a seasonsed veteran given the right circumstances and skill levels.

It's kinda like Grand Theft Auto, but MMORPG. The Character customization is more in-depth than any MMO I've ever played. Ever. It even goes so far that you can create your own theme music that plays on your slain opponents speakers whenever you defeat another player. The gameplay is intuitive, and it's just good old fashioned madcap fun, but with levelling and equipment upgrades very similar to an MMO. The matchmaking is pretty good too, so you'll usually get missions that involve players near your skill level. This is a pure PVP MMO though, with no PVE options, so it's not for everyone.
