Does anyone on the board recieve cleveland ohio locals if so how is your quality of picture compared to other channels???? picture quality isnt that good at times and yet my signal strength on all transponders(for cleveland locals) is awesome!

I'm on the other end of the states so I haven't seen your locals. However I can tell you that generally the locals don't look as good as the "regular" channels.
One big thing to remember about digital signals is that unlike with analogue signals the signal strength means next to nothing when talking about picture quality. Once the signal is strong enough to reach a certain threshhold, you get a "perfect" picture. Additional signal strength only ensures against atmospheric events. But if the sognal is not strong enough to reach a threshhold, then you be nothing! There is precious little in between.
That is a long way of saying that you are getting what Dish is sending.

Yes, that's correct. A digital signal is almost a perfect replication of what goes in. If the channels that Dish is receiving from NE Ohio are of poor quality, well..... Garbage in = Garbage out with a digital signal.
