Folks,
Does any one know a Blueray Player that has a browser that can support the Windows Media Player?

Oppos do. I really like both of mine. They also have 7.1 channels out.

What version of Oppos do you have?

Most BDP's support DLNA. Why would one need WMP?

Mine are the older ones, the 80 and the 83. I see they've dropped the 80 and upgraded the 83 to 93.
They are expensive, but very good.
Since I like Samsung TVs, I'd also look at the Samsung line to see if their apps are as good as they are on the TVs. My TV also can play Media Share content (rather well, as a matter of fact.)
Cheers,

Most all my TV's are Samsungs and I love 'em. But their BDP's are not good since they took out the Silicon Optics chips for their own. And theirs are no where as good. That's why I went LG, even though our LG microwave is junk and CR leaves a bit to be desired. The upscaling is amazing. But then the Samsung DLP has a lot to do with making garbage look great.
If you are looking for a "media player", most all BDP's have DLNA capability these days. Direct access is great. The only limitation will be if a particular player does not support a particular file format. I have found that .mkv is the best.
