My son does cabling for a living. When I asked him about running RG6 he said why not run fibre to the locations needed. I couldn't answer with any degree of knowledge. He owns his co. so no charge to me for the install, lucky me. Question he asked - how many cables come down from the dish. I going to run tivo in two rooms and a single rec. in the third - how do the five cables (fibre or RG6) connect with those from the dish?? Or from the switch ??
