According to SF Gate (http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/gate/a/2003/10/19/raiders1.DTL), the Monday night football game between Kansas City at Oakland will air on both KGO-7 in San Francisco and KXTV-10 in Sacramento.

As of last Friday, 5,000 seats remained unsold in Oakland, which would have forced a blackout of the game. However, an agreement was reached in order to have the game air in those two local markets.

The Raiders asked the NFL to give them another extension last night, and the NFL agreed. The Raiders now have untill 10am today (in 15 minutes from now) to sell out to avoid blackout. It is believed that if the Raiders fail to beat the deadline yet again, then the local ABC stations might decide to buy the remaining tickets, depending on how many are left.

This is absolutely pathetic. Raiders fans everywhere should be ashamed. It's Monday night, a rivalry game, against agruably the #1 team in the NFL. Oakland fans are completely overrated.

Considering how they are playing, a blackout might be a good thing...
