Ahh, so they have started to cave in a little. I predict the next step will be the elimination of the fee for the AT150+HBO+Cinemax package, or even possibly just AT150 or thed AT100+HBO+Cinemax package. Where did you get this story??????

STB=Set Top Box I believe. In otherwords, the receiver.

While I'm at it, :welcome_s to DBSTalk, TheRegulator. Enjoy your stay!

it's a max of 4.98 per STB. They reduced to meet customer concerns expressed when customers started calling. that's what the csr told me when i called today.

510 is on it's way. it's getting installed next tuesday.

it's a max of 4.98 per STB.Are you sure? The web page (http://www.dishnetwork.com/popUps/getdish/promotions/FD_510.shtml?section=getDish) shows that you need at least AT50 or Dish Latino. It doesn't say what you'd pay if you had neither of these. Perhaps it's $4.98, perhaps not. My subscription was for TV5 and locals.

I suppose I could easily call to find out, but (1) I don't actually care, since I'm on Comcast now, and (2) I'd probably get as many answers as phone calls I'd make.

If anyone finds out, please let us know.
