View Full Version : 508 Possesed only between 10:00 and 11:30pm

Ok I am about to go crazy every night now for a week when I push any buttons on my remote my 508 goes crazy. I push the up button and it changes about 20 ch's. Same thing in the menu. It must be the 508 it self because when I used an IR remote from the bed room it did the same thing. It only lasts for an hour or an hour and a half and then it goes back to normal. I have my front panel buttons locked so i have not been able to chang ch's there becuase I cant enter the code to unlock the system. When i enter the first digit of the code it enters that digit over and over agian makeing it impossible to get into the locks. Any thoughts comments suggestions would be appreciated.

Yes. Unplug it from the wall for about 30 seconds, then plug it back in. Once it resets itself, see if this fixes the problem. Always step #1 in resolving strange PVR issues. Could be a static build up.
