How to record only one "daily show" a day

When I set my Tivo to record "the daily show" daily, it records every time it airs each day (they show the same episode several times a day). How do I get it to just record the one that comes on a 10pm?

Setup a manual repeating recording for that channel at 10pm for 30 minutes (think your old VCR here). It will appear in your Season Pass manager and you can order it however you wish. Reason you need to do that is that the station that carries that show doesn't give correct guide data.

I think Tivo has an option to not record duplicates of the same program... Won't it work if you select it manually after you setup the season pass?

the only way that will work is if there is a valid program description and then it won't record the same episode. The Daily Show usually says "No information available" which will cause it to record each time.
