Question about adding CBS HD

I currently have the CBS distant signals form LA in my distants package. I just hooked up my new 6000 receiver and ordered the HDTV package. I want to point my spare dish 300 to 148 to receive CBS HD West. Should it already be there since I subscribe to the distants channels or will I have to request it? Also will I lose my CBS West SD station or will I be allowed to keep it? I also have the Denver distants package.

I would rather point to 61.5 but I don't want to change my package to NY distants. So I don't see CBS HD from NY happening because that would be my third CBS distant.

You will have to request it. There is different rules for obtaining CBS-HD than there is for CBS-SD

No you should be able to keep it.

I'm not entirely sure but I think you may be able to get CBS-HD east even though you don't have the East coast feeds.
