programming DTV remote for LG soundar

I have a LG 42LV5500 tv, LG LSB316 soundbar that i need help with the DTV remote. I got the remote programmed for the tv, but cannot find a code for the soundbar. Anyone know of a code for the soundbar?

I saw your other thread in the DirecTV forum and then saw it was kinda old. Looked to see if you have posted elsewhere and here it is. Still old! Anyway, how is the sound bar connected? I know with my Samsung soundbar it's connected to the Samsung TV and it just works with the TV. No extra programming needed. Maybe the LG will work the same way.

I have soundbar connected to tv via optical cable. Can't get DTV remote to work w/sounbar & tv without changing the input switch.
