In an effort to combat spoilers taking out my questions, here is the completely spoiler-free, no chance of it getting spoiled question of the week:
Who will be leading the DBSTalk: Survivor Pearl Islands contest after this week?
The correct answer will be the player with the most points BEFORE points from this poll (8) and before the trifecta bonus points (25) are added in, but AFTER the 10 random bonus points, the points from the other three polls (16) and the voting participation points (8) are added in.
The 10 players listed are listed in order of standing after Week #7.
This poll is worth 8 points.

Oh come on... make the question including the Trifecta. ;) I want another brain buster to solve.
It is by will alone I set my mind in motion.
It is by the juice of Sapho that thoughts acquire speed.
The lips acquire stains.
The stains become a warning.
It is by will alone I set my mind in motion.

I am kind of disturbed that my user name is not an option.

Nothing personal, wrigjef...just the top 10 as of last week are on the list. :)

What would have been funny is if Mark used the same code he did last season, and everyone saw their own name on the list. ;)
And BTW, I'm still disappointed that I didn't win last season, despite the endorsement DBSTalk put in for me. *grin*

Oh, and you think adding the trifecta points into this poll wouldn't be bad enough...sheesh that's an evil thought! :D

If there is a tie for first place, will the answer be for correct for both names, or is it None of the Above?

If it ends up being a tie, any of the names tied for first place will be considered correct.
Check that...should be interesting.

Phhht. Only CoriBright has voted for me thus far. Where is the love?
Of course I probably won't even vote for myself. ;)

Well at least you got a vote.... ;)

Looks like the top 3 contestants are very confident. All of them voted for themselves. They can't all be right, so its likely we will shake up the order this week. Most people seem to be betting on the front runner or a surprise leader coming from below. I'm guessing folks are thinking the random points might shake things up a bit.

Hey! I even got a vote! Thanks! :D

Well, if my wife didn't vote for herself, it would be impossible to win the trifecta, so she had to vote for herself.

I wanted to thank everyone who voted for me. Notice, I didn't! :)

Yeah, there is lots of strategy needed for this poll.
I was in a simular bind, as my vote for phillipsfamily was the only logical conclusion based on my other votes. Obviously I think how I voted in the other polls is right, and phillipsfamily voted the same way, so I had to cast my poll only to him (or her?) in order to have a chance at the trifecta.
My biggest worry was that I had to wait until all the other contestants above me had voted to be absolutely certain. I usually vote on tuesday afternoon, but had to wait till almost midnight before casting my vote... way too much stress.

Same strategy here Danny R. If maltese_mom had voted my way then I would've voted for her. Gotta keep your eye on the trifecta!
I too was wondering how many people would wait to the last minute to keep their votes unknown. I didn't vote until almost 11pm but that wasn't my intention. Really. :sure:
Argh, I screwed up this poll. I failed to realize that some of the people on the list hadn't voted yet by the time I voted, so I picked based on who would win given the people who had voted at that time. Guess that means no trifecta for me. :(

boma was the leader, and is the correct answer for this poll. Here's how the results stood after the random bonus points, the voting points, and the other three polls points:
boma - 177
phillipsfamily - 175
maltese_mom - 173
buzzdalf - 171
Danny R - 169
jcrash - 165
TWood - 165
Lee L - 161
Mark Lamutt - 161
