OK, I already know this is MY fault - I SHOULD NOT have waited so long to x-fer some shows I wanted to keep to VCR, but...
I just realized some shows I had on my 501 that I was planning on archiving to VCR have vanished. I figured this because I was NOT "protecting" them, as I figured I'd get around to x-ferring them later. (& you know how THAT goes when you put something off) I normally don't keep THAT much stuff on this PVR, as it really is just an overflow from my D-Tivo & Replay units, but evidently I have been lately.
Question is, when the HD starts getting full & you have shows that are NOT protected, what order does it start deleting programs, by the oldest first, or some other order? Also, if you have protected EVERYTHING sitting on the HD, does it just stop recording & warn you, or whatever?
