voom receiver

does anybody know where to find technical info on the Voom receiver?

I gather the little red button behind the flip down door on the right sets the output format, but it does not seem to be documented.

Install was Thursday and all seems to work okay, but the Showtime HD signal does not seem to be of the same quality as my current Showtime HD signal, using the built in HD receiver in my RCS38310 TV.

Anyone else think this?

The Lil red button is for setting the staus of the type of direct output video feed to TV. All i know is when you push red button and release you need to get the upper most light pipe to blink once. When done that means IRD is set to HDTV output mode only .
