DVR 510 Question

I had a DVR 510 installed today, but I might have a problem. The receiever is making a constant clicking noise. It sounds like the hard drive. I called dish and they said this is normal. The receiever is working fine, normal play and recording. Is this normal or do I have a problem and need to get dish to send me a new receiver.

Depends on how loud it is. The hard drive typically does make a soft clicking sound and a light hum. The clicking and hum is just loud enough for me to hear it from 15 feet away in a dead quiet room.

My first 501 was noisier, so I put a piece of foam rubber under each leg, and that helped a lot.
