Just got my ReplayTV unit today

I just wanted to thank all the people on here that helped me with my questions about replay and tivo. I purchased my Replaytv unit today and Im loving it. Already recorded one football game, and after editing it will be ready to be burned onto a dvd disk. Thanks again for all the help.

Which replay did you get? I have a 5040 I bought about 3-1/2 weeks ago that I love. Have networked with my pc's so I can dump the programs to them and keep every recording at HQ.

Thats the same models as mine. I too have it networked to my computer. Now I need to find a video editing program to clean them up and burn to dvd's.

I searched for one until I found the answer by my tv. I have an apex dvd player I bought last year for my camper that plays mpegs. Last week I put a dvd -rw in that I had put some replay mpegs in, to my amazment they played. Will play with it more the next time Im on days off. I have It hooked to my panasonic dvd recorder so it would not be to hard to make an r copy.
