Question about upgrading to Dish 921

I currently have the old DISH PVR and Dish 500 Satellite Dish and pay for the local channels; and want to upgrade to the Dish 921 so I can get HD and keep the recording features. Where do I buy it? Is it backordered? What is expected time? Will I need an additional Satellite to get the channels? What is OTA?

You can pre-order one at several places, including http://www.dishdepot.com , or check the vsll thread for their site so you can call and see if they still have any in stock. eBay has had one or two for sale, but beware "bidding" on a pre-order there. Yes, it's WAY backordered and no one really knows how long it will take to get one because DISH Network won't tell them. You will not need an additional antenna unless you want and can qualify for CBS HD. OTA stands for over the air, ie. received with a VHF/UHF antenna.
