7200 software upgrade ???

I just aquired a 7200. It does not go to home screen and neither it updates the software. I am outside US. I also tried with a HD from my friend's 7200 receiver (which is in working condition), it does the same thing. Is there any way to get the software in the 7200 flash upgrded to a current version ?

Any help or ideas are welcome.
