Got my system(triple LNB Tivo setup) installed yesterday. Sat's A and C get good signal, but there is nothing on Sat B. Directv said that is normal, but it doesn't make sense to me that I can't see it at all.

Is this the way it should be? What channels are on 119? Do I need to have someone else come out and look at it?

Thanks

Harlen

NASA is on 376. If you can get it in then everything is fine. If you can't then it's not installed correctly.

You should also see Channel 99 which airs a continuous screen stating "Test Channel for the 110 satellite".

More than likely the 119 is shooting into a tree.If you want go out and look at the dish and see if there seems to be a tree somewhat close to the line of sight on the right hand side of the dish. But i would bet your line of sight for that sat. is blocked by something.

I had the same problem with my local installer. He said to me everything was ok and left and then later I saw that 119 wasn't working. I just called my dealer (ExpertSatellite) and let them know what happened and a couple of days later the same installer came again, and still couldn't get it... I guess he was lazy and didn't want to relocate my dish to a better position. Well, another call and the next day a really good installer (different guy of course) came in and relocated my dish to the roof and in 30 mins I had all 3 sats working fine.

In summary, if you payed for the 3-LNB dish call your dealer and have them fix the mess your installer did, they are obligated to give you a working dish to all 3 satellites.
