721 hangs on Dolby Digital recordings

My 721 works strangely with Dolby* Digital recordings. When using any of the controls -- pause, scan, jump -- it hangs for a long time before going back to play. Anybody else experience this problem? It seems to have started a couple of software upgrades ago.

I've been having this trouble too. Thought it might just be the one recording (as I don't record a lot of DD stuff).

I noticed this happening right after the last software upgrade. I had thought it was just on the HBO channels and had not made the connection with Dolby Digital programs, but that makes sense. This is a major annoyance and if I had a choice I would choose to go back one software version.

This is happening to me also. Last month I called advanced tech support about the problem and was told my 721 had hardware problems. I swapped units with them, but still have the problem. :nono2:
