In case you haven't been over to AVS yet, they have some pictures of the HD-DirecTivo at CES:

Old problems still present...
1. Can't tell if two tuners are active for satellite reception. It looks like only one. :nono2:
2. A damn DVI port should be standard, period.
3. Clearly only one input for antenna/atsc signal (major let down compared to the rumors of two possible).

If this is the example of the unit that will be released in Q1 2004, then D* will get owned by E*. I will be forced to switch back to E* (this sucks), because I was really getting comfy with the one satellite thing with D*, oh well at least I will have alacart service with the sunday ticket (best of both worlds).

I read over on tivocommunity.com that it has an internal splitter for the OTA signal. It has 2 sat inputs and 1 OTA input (which splits internally, giving us 2 OTA tunners).

My bad Eich, I just check the tivo forum as well.

Still...
1. Where's the DVI or HDMI port? (One of the two has got to be on the unit at final release, it just doesn't make any sense).

HDMI is right above the USB ports. DVI is old technology, HDMI replaced it.

Yeah, and HDMI is backward compliant with DVI, I've seen the cables at lots of different places. In fact, I've seen more HDMI/DVI cables then I've seen HDMI/HDMI cables.

Oh, your right bon, I see now.
Which brings me to my next question:
Anybody know where I can get a HDMI to DVI adapter of sorts. My TV doesn't have HDMI (although, from what I have read HDMI is way cool!).
