 I just managed to hook-up my roof outside antenna (no minor deed since it was 2 degrees) in New York. I only wanted to just get the antenna up and really could not orientate it. I was able to pull in CBS-HD, ABC-HD and UPN-hd. I was also able to get 18 other stations but I only wanted the Digital ones. I wish that I could have gotten NBC as well but I figured I was lucky to get what I have. I did a strengths test and came up with these figures...chan 56 = 62 strength, chan 45 = 102 strength and chan 44 = 66 strength. One question I have for you is how to remove the analog stations from the guide? I just want the Digital stations to appear.

I wonder what happens when you hook up a cable digital feed?

you should be able to click on the undesired station in the OTA setup menu & press a remove or delete button.

Your closer than I am. I'm in Nassau. You should be able to add NBC (ch 28) without any trouble. Of course its always possible that their is a building in the way of thet GE building and you at your location. If that's the case you will have to wait until they move to ESB in the Spring.
In general in NY don't scan. Add manually particularly for the analog stations or you will get a lot of weak barely viewable (and often garbage) stations. I don't have a 921, yet, but on the 6000 you check the analog stations you don't want on the locals screen and then select remove.

Well I tried it and did an OTA check using the cable wire before it went into the cable box. No signal was found. :nono2:
