Replaytv Shows dump to Comp

I recently got a replay 5040 unit, but I can figure out how to connect it to my network so I can transfer the shows to my comp so I can burn them into dvd's? Does anyone know how this is done? Please help.

Basically it will make your computer look like another ReplayTV unit, except you can't say to record a show on it. You can transfer programs from your Replay to your PC or put them back. You can also play shows directly from the computer to save harddrive space on your replay. Check out the AVSForum site, there's a section on Replays and theres info there about how to edit out commercials and such and burn the result onto a DVD. Good luck and enjoy the Replay. Rick
