What's the serial number of the unit? And has it been sent back to the factory to get the firmware upgrade?

Mark, I will check this weekend. It is still in use and I'll have to pull it out to check the numbers. This one from ecost that was reported to have the fix. I have not experienced any problems with pixelation. I've been using it with a MyHD card and Dish 5000 to time shift. I do not archive. So I've decided to go with a 921.

I've been considering the HM-DH30000 as a good mate to the 921. But, what I really want is this:

Could be a lot more $$$, but having it's own ATSC OTA tuner makes it a lot more versatile.

(of course, what I REALLY want is a Blue-Ray DVD recorder)
