SW64 & diplexer???

Does anyone know for sure if a sat signal and OTA antenna signal can be diplexed together before going into a SW64 switch?

I was told this was possible but when tried and my SAT boxes no longer recognized my SW64 switch.

You can use a diplexor after the sw64 switch - not before

So if you have four tv's you would have to have a 4 way splitter for your OTA antenna and then place the diplexors between the sw64 and your receivers - I can't remember if you can use a diplexor on output 1 of your sw64 switch as this is the one the power inserter connects to.
Maybe someone else can answer this. I have personally used diplexors on output 2,3 & 4 of the sw64 with great success, haven't tried output 1 as I figured it would interfere with power inserter
