I got a 510 about 2 months ago and about 3 weeks ago I started getting lines in my pictures. These lines are also bleeding over onto my other video sources on my tv. They look like an overmodulation interference. I can't even watch a dvd without unplugging my 510. I have 3 other receivers and I don't get the interference from them when I hooked them to where I had the 510. Dish sent me a replacement 510 today and it does the same thing. I have tried new cables, new dvd player, different electrical outlet, I mean everything. It comes down to the 510 is the only thing I cannot eliminate as causing this. Does anybody know any other possibilities or something else to try? Also, I am a dish network installer and I have gone through all dish's tech support(worthless). I was somebody on here could help me.

How are you hooking it up ? Mine is absolutely flawless on S-video, Composite, built-in channel 3 , AND my own UHF modulator. Have you tried it on another TV ?

I currently have it hooked up with s video. I have tried rf and composite videos and get the same results. I tried looping the composites through my vcr to see if it would filter it out, but same results. I have not tried the 510 on another tv cause all my other tvs are just little ones. My tv is a JVC 36" flat tube. I reallize it may be the tv, but why doesn't my other receivers do this on this tv?

I finally solved my problem. Turns out there was a ground off on the tuner pak on my tv on the inside. Installed a jumper until tv repairman comes. Thanks for your reply scooper.
