Switching from E* Dish 500 to single Tivo on Direct TV. Using a dual tuner takes two coax obviously. I plan to use a mulitsat antenna which has multiple outputs from the dish. Is it as simple as running two cables from dish to the two inputs on the receiver? (No other satellite receivers in the house.)

While reading a manual on line, I saw something about going to a switch or will that not apply to me? Seems like the switch is in the LNB group but not sure.

Sounds like a simple, direct connection of two cables but I just want to be sure no switch is needed.
Thanks

Yes, it should be that simple. The Phase III multi-satellite dish that DirecTV is using now has a built-in 4X4 multi-switch. You will be able to run two RG-6 cables to your DTivo and still have two spare outputs onyour dish for future expansion.
