Isn't that alot considering I can get a brand new one for under $100 now!!
I know it sucks. I wanted to sell one of my 3 DTivos when I get the HD version in March. Now I'll probably end up giving it to a friend.

Educate me...what does this unit have that would make me want to spend over 3 x more than a new one ? Is it hacked, have a lifetime Tivo service, or something else? It does appear that there are ALOT of these for sale on E-bay, and there may be a demand, so is there something better about this model than the newer Series 2 units ?

His OP didnt have any response in nearly a week, and he asked if there was any interest in Directv...so I was doing some background on this unit...whats the big deal...people are sooo thin skinned...
