UHF Remote

Will a UHF remote for 501 work with a 301? Do they sell a UHF remote for the 301?

the 301 is Infrared only - although the 501 remote is IR/UHF and will work with both the 501 and 301.
The 301 will only accept IR signals

You can get a kit from your Echostar Dealer which gives you a UHF remote an a receiver. You place the receiver near your satellite receiver and now you have a UHF remote for your satellite receiver that works anywhere in the house.
