I went to Sear, Radio Shack and regional Super Store.

Each time I talked to the manager for the department.

Each store is a DIsh retailed, they all said they cant get 921s till the middle of March. ONe manage said they had 10 on order only to have the order QUOTE: "Pulled back" what ever that means.

UPDATED: today I called some regular Dish Retailes. All had waiting lists expecting them the middle of March. They all said they would get them in first.

What is going on? This thing came out in December.

In a few weeks we will be at March 1st when they should be out in truck loads.

Is something wrong with production or the software? Thought the bugs are being fixed.

Does anyone have any 921 that one could pick up off the shelf in time for the Super Bowl? I am sure some out there want one. Did Dish miss an other date?

Is this strange or what? Seems like this date I keep hearing (the middle of March) is also when the new Direct TV HD Tivo comes out.

Many question. Something is not right at Dishnetwork these days. . . .

I believe there simply isn't enough supply to send to a Sears or RS. Think about the number of stores each has, they would each have to receive at least a thousand to be even useful. Especially RS.

Seems all the little shops are getting them, 2,3,5 at a time, and most have outstanding orders. I know DishDepot has a 130 person waiting list, that started over a year ago! I called a local shop by me this week, and they'd just gotten in 3, but all were taken. They expect to get a couple more in within 2 weeks, so I should get one then. It's more of a supply/demand issue. There seems to be quite a large demand, and the supply stream can't keep up, so the Sear's of the world won't get any soon. I don't think Sears wants them till there are enough to have 1 on display, and 2 or 3 in stock per store, which probably means a few thousand units. Unless they decide to make an online only purchase.
