Hello Friends, pardon the interruption, but there is breaking news for DirecTV users concerning the Superbowl.
This week, there was an announcement that in certain markets in the country, DirecTV would start sending CBS-HD (both east and west feeds) signals to those who wanted it... esp. so reception of the SB was possible.
Tampa is NOT one of these eligible areas, HOWEVER there IS at least one report to me today (saturday) that a local person called DirecTV and the rep turned the signal on for him.
So, if you don't have a reliable signal for tomorrow or didn't think it was possible, give them a call and just ask the Rep that you'd like to get the "Superbowl in HD" - there is supposedly a $1.50 monthly charge for each of the 2 feeds.
