Directv DVR and DSL

Does anyone know how to fix the dial-in portion of the Tivo with my DSL. I have to shut down my DSL in order for my reciever to dial in and connect. Once I unplug the DSL modem it dials in fine

Do you have one of the Filters installed on that phone line?

Yup! You need a DSL filter on the phone line to the TiVo.
