What is considered to be the best cable for a DishPro system? Manufacturer and Part # if possible.

I need outdoor and inwall (conduit) rating. Direct Burial not required.

I know RG-6 QS and 2.2 GHz are required but I have some with those specs from Carol Manufacturing and I am suspecting it is giving me a switching problem. See seperate post.

I've done some web searches but there are a Lot of cables out there... :eek2:

There are lot of cables out there and 99.9% will work. Most problems come from bad connectors or crimped or penetrated cables rather than a bad cable.

Any good RG6 except cheap 40% shield should work fine with DishPro. Quad shielded cable is not neccessary. 90% shielded is better. Carol cable should be fine. It is the brand made by General Cable and sold at most Home Depots.

Now using all Dish Branded Switches and LNB's and no problems (knock on wood) with the Carol Cableing.
