Signal Amplifier Or Path Finder

I Have 3 Receivers One Is A 6000 Hd Receiver , The Other 2 I Think Are 3900's.
I Am Wandering Why Is It That If I Disconect The Signal Amplifier
They Installed Near One Of The Receivers I Loss Signal On All My Receivers.

what are you calling a signal amplifer?(ie model number)
who are they?(dish network?)
without more info, I would guess that "it" is not a signal amplifer, but some other switch or adapter.

With three Legacy receivers and one being the 6000 I would guess you have a SW-64 and what you are calling an amplifier is the power supply for the switch.
