I have a friend who, until recently, was a dish net retailer. He has now gone out of business and has a lot of dish net stuff for sale. Since I am only a "lowly installer", I have no idea what his equipment is worth. So, I was wondering if you wonderful people of this forum could help me out. I do not have a complete inventory of all his equip yet. but I do know he has:
dish pro quads-both new and used
legacy quads-both new and used
dish pro and legacy twins-both new and used
legacy duals-new and used
sw21 switches-new and used
dish 500 kits-complete kits including reflector, arm, yoke, twin lnb, and hardware-new and used
34 switches and 64 switches
What I need from you folks is a basic idea of what these items would be worth, and where I might be able to sell them (I know nothing about e-bay, and don't have the time or patience to learn!). My zip code (37312) recently went to Super Dish 105 to be used to pick up locals, and no one in this area is interested in the older dish 500 systems anymore. Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks In Advance

In my opinion which is not worth much:
dish pro quads-both new and used $75-$100
legacy quads-both new and used $70-$95
dish pro and legacy twins-both new and used $20-$30
legacy duals-new and used $8-$15
sw21 switches-new and used $6-$12
dish 500 kits-complete kits including reflector, arm, yoke, twin lnb, and hardware-new and used $40
34 switches and 64 switches 64 about $70 34 not sure

I will sell new DP34 for 135-150 all day long if people are willing to pay me that much for them. They are nice to cascade for those with mutiple tuner receivers and multiple receivers.

John:
about a year ago a friend bought a 2nd dp34 as he added 2 recievers to his 4 room setup. Bought it direct from dish it was 150.
Go to what i call this sites sponser DishDepot and go under multiswitches and it listed for 135 and I see nthat price from other dish retialers.
Ebay mean average for used dp34s is about 70 dollars. New ones are going for anywhere 90 to 120 on ebay.
But like I said 135-150 is what retialers seem to sell them as. All I was stating was there New condition retial price as a guide line. He could easily sell those for 100 new with out thinking.

Thanks for all the replies to my message.
Now my next question-Would anyone be interested in buying any or all of this equip at a reasonable price? If not, can you tell me where I might be able to sell it, other than the obvious(e-bay, on-line auctions, etc.)? Again, thanks in advance for all your help
