:lol: I am making a switch to Voom. I will let the 811 go for $200, $100 for the 2 301's, and $120 for the 2 Quad pros. Or all for $400.If interested reply or send me a PM.
I'll take the 811 as long as it doesn't have a balance on it.

Um, no -- everything... Hmmm... I was afraid that this might happen -- which is actually why I posted it here (to make sure no one else said "me too!").
On Friday, just before I replied here that I had sent him a PM, I sent him said PM and offered to accept his $400-for-everything deal provided that nothing had a balance. He replied to me via PM on Saturday at 11:26am and said:
"I will ship it on Monday. It has 0 Balance and has all cards, remotes, plus 2 sets of component cables and manuals. I'm sorry about my response time, but I recieved more attention for this then I thought, so it has been a little confusing for me. I do have a paypal account and will send that info for payment. Thanks"
So, I'm not sure what is going on. Did he accept your offer also? Did you pay him yet? I also thought it odd that he said "I will ship IT" and "IT has a 0 balance" instead of "I will THEM" and "THEY ALL have a 0 balance." So, I replied (today) confirming that it was for everything, as we had agreed. I haven't heard back yet.
So, maybe he just got confused -- maybe there is a scam going on. Let me know what you know and we'll go from there...

Perhaps if there was a way that this could be controlled to prevent scams such as having money and items sent to one location (admin of the boards) and then when the money and items are received at the location they would go to the respectful places, but that costs more money in shipping particularly if someone does not pay for the item and shipping has to be paid both ways to get back to the seller.

Well, to be honest, I think that is too much to ask of the admins. If people really want to do that, there are places such as escrow.com that have similar services for a fee.
In this case, I simply gave him my references -- and mentioned how long I've been around here -- and asked him to ship first. He never did write back...
I think most of the ads here are legit. Heck, I'm not sure this guy wasn't just "confused" yet. heh.
But, if it was a scam, he didn't do a very good job of it. :)

I agreed to buy the 811 for what he was asking.
He said okay and that he was new at this and wasn't sure how to do it.
He said that this would be his first transaction.
I told him if he had Paypal, I would prefer to pay him that way.
If not, I would send him a money order or cashier's check and then he could ship it to me.
That was on Thursday.
I've been waiting since Thursday for him to get back to me with the payment instructions.
I have sent him 2 private messages since then that come up under "tracking" as still being unread.
I wonder what's going on?

Again, he might just be confused. I'm not sure if he saw my offer and thought that he'd rather do it all at once -- or if he thought that maybe I was you and got his messages mixed up -- or if it really was a scam.

Let me ensure you that this is not a scam. I guess I made the mistake of posting this here and at SatGuys.I recieved emails from every side . It was confusing. I work in retail and this is inventory time for me, so I am buisy and I it just came down to the fact that it was easier to sell the whole package. It also came down that I wanted to close a deal by Sunday and ship early Monday while I was in my office( The only real chance I would have for a week) I know I had talked to a couple of people and I apologize as I didn't mean to mislead anyone. This was my first time selling and I have learned some lessons here. Thanks

You need to let us know what you wanted AND when you wanted it.
I thought we had a deal on the 811 last Thursday.

I would've bought the whole package if you would've let me know that was what you wanted instead of just leaving me hanging 5 days ago waiting to pay you for the 811...
So since you said you could only ship the item(s) on Monday (yesterday), are we correct to assume it all has been sold and shipped?

I bought the whole package from Butlers, and I hope I am the only one that paid. :) Did not expect this transaction to be so "complicated". Anyway, I got the tracking no. of the shipment already, and will keep everyone posted how it goes.
