I'm kind of new to TIVO and the forum but after 7 days am hopelessly addicted to TIVO.

Anyway to the question. There's a marathom coming up next week and I'll want to copy it to the VCR. Is there any way to copy say 6 episodes in a row unattended? I'd just like to set up a "play list" and let it fill the tape after they're on the DVR.

I hope this isn't a repeat question. I went to www.tivocommunity.com and searched. I found a ton of helpful info but nothing on this.

Any help sincerely appreciated.

There is no way to do a mass dump of a series of recordings. What I did last weekend for The Mole marathon on ABC family was set up a manual timer to record the entire marathon, then dumped it to tape overnight.

Here's what I found by doing a search for "Batch Save" on the TiVo Community.

Yea, "Batch Save" has been one of the more requested items for future Tivo software releases for years. Hasn't made it in yet (at least on DirecTivo's).

Mark, are you saying that you basically made it one big, long program rather than several small ones? I can see how that would work when you dump it to VCR.

Mark, are you saying that you basically made it one big, long program rather than several small ones?Yup. It was for a friend, so just record the program, then at bedtime, insert tape and dupe overnight.
