ASK DBSTalk: Will a 921 timer fire in "standby mode"

Silly question perhaps, but will the 921 timer fire if the main Yellow light on the front panel is off? With the wonderful new "remote feature" that came with L146 I am having a hard time trying to make sure the 921 is up and running now since evertime you turn off the TV, the 921 gets turned off or put into standby. :confused:

Yes. My 921 fires timers in standby mode all the time.
