You are very welcome! I was going to do it earlier today but got involved with something else.
I didn't realize the Sky Angel forums were gone so I guess it couldn't hurt opening this place.
Enjoy and thanks to all for suggesting this forum.

Any news on the Dish Sky Angel lawsuit?
Sorry I didn't see this question earlier.
Last I heard, some time this month Dish and SA were going into binding arbitration to settle the matter. I don't have a date.
For those out of the loop, Dish dropped all the Daystar local channels in exchange for putting the national Daystar channel up on the Public Interest block (9408). The same thing pretty much happened for FamilyNet. (9414).
The problem is that Dish and SA have a contract where SA can't show channels with predominantly secular programming and Dish can't get channels with predominantly Christian/Missionary content (except EWTN, TBN and Angel 1).
Sky Angel sued Dish to get Daystar and FamilyNet taken off (SA already has Daystar and a FamilyNet affiliate). SA won the first round. Dish was ordered to take Daystar and FamilyNet off their service by the courts. But the next business day, Dish got a TRO vacating the lower court's decision pending appeal. And that is where we are now.
See ya
