I wanted a timer for 10pm to midnight. But, what I programmed was a timer for 10pm to Noon (manual timer for an over the air channel, of course).
So this morning I check the 921, hmmm, the record light is on?
It's still recording the George Harrision PBS concert from last night (and I Spy, but that one was ok).
So, realistically, it should have eaten away half the stored programs on my drive - ouch....
It still said it was recording, but apparently had only recorded between 4 and 5 hours. I still have 4 hours and change left on the Drive.
I started the PVR event, hit stop (which correctly halted PBS and left HBOHD alone). I then deleted the event (which seemed to show more minutes then actual).
The hard drive jumped to around 9 hours available.
Don't know if the limited recording is a bug. I suppose it should just keep recording until it deleted everything (not protected). But, it saved my Caboose.
