View Full Version : skip timer once no longer in timer conflict
I am having a problem with my PVR721 with the Timer Conflict screen.
If there was a timer conflict, it used to give me an option on a recurring timer to "Skip This Timer Once".
It is no longer giving me this option. I have tried calling tech supoort and I did the front panel reset, pulled card and reinserted, removed power and replugged in.
No matter what we did it will not give me this option anymore.
I even tried deleting timers and recreating them, to see if it was an individual timer problem.
Lastly, I even tried to create new timers from scratch and this option is no longer available.
I verified this occurance while on the phone with Tech support and all they could tell me was it is not a known problem, and they would report it.
Any idea what is going on ? This option is extremely valualble.
Thank you
Tony

I used that option last night? Did you have the problem with no info in the EPG? If so, then perhaps that was at the root of the problem?

I didn't have the guide problem, and I even tried the timer conflict thing today, and the problem is still there.
Support was totally useless, which was unusual since they have usually been very helpful.
All they could tell me was they would file a report and I should check back in a week or so. I can not find that an acceptable solution
Any ideas ?

Are you sure you were selecting a recurring timer? That's about the only thing I can think of - that you were selecting a one-time timer. I just used the option the other night.

I am sure. I tried a daily timer and a weekly timer. Both are recurting timers and neither allowed me to skip the occurance anymore.
I have used this option many times in the past and am very familiar with it.
But for some reason it is not working anymore

I am having this issue as well. It used to give me the option to skip once but no longer does this for me on my 721.

Still got it on my 721 but when I tried to use it it wouldn't allow me to get out of the triple conflict screen . It just kept on going back to the triple conflict screen. I eventually had to delete the timer since it wouldn't work . Another bug?

On a side note, I had no idea that the 721 had this feature! I've wanted it on my 501 forever! Gimme! :)
