Locals In Rochester [Archive]

Anyone know what the time frame might be to get the locals here in Rochester? I've been waiting for months it seems. Any Info? THX.

It's uplinked already (even though it's not available to Subscribers yet) - however it's a good sign.. (who knows - maybe they ll make it available this Thursday.. cuz thursdays usually when they make locals available)

Even when Rochester Locals become available to Subscribers you will need a SUPERDISH as Rochester locals are upllinked to 121 and not DISH's core DBS slots of 110 or 119.

This will mean you will need a service call to replace your current Dish with the SuperDISH. As SuperDish's are in short supply you MAY not be able to get your locals right away.

I also have been waiting for Rochester locals. But I want Dish to add the local UPN before I add the locals. I know that the local UPN is a low power station but I still want Dish it add it.

I've been on a relentless quest to get the Cincinnati local WBQC UPN affiliate added since 2000 with no success. :mad:
