Hello everybody, I found this forum while scouring the net in search of a solution to my dilemma. I am putting a self tracking dish on my boat and have sort of painted myself into the corner. AFTER doing the whole installation I realized there was no DB9 port on my Satt60.
I have a Trackvision LM and want to connect it to the Sony Satt60 Tivo. I need to figure out a way to get the Satt60 to control the signal seeking Trackvision LM. Again, the data cable from the LM is a DB9. There is a serial out port on the Satt60 but it is a mini plug type.
If this is not possible, my backup plan is to use a an old RCA receiver to control the LM and put the Satt60 on in tandem. If I do the latter, I still have to find a cable that will work. This second setup would be db9 to a modular phone jack type (RJ45?).
Can anyone help?
