Columbia, MO ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS AND REL

Lincoln, NE ABC, CBS, FOX AND PBS

Both require 105 SuperDISH or equivalent.

Not available, yet.

UPDATE: Lincoln NBC added and FOX withdrawn.

I'm a measly 50 miles away from Lincoln and can't get Fox, but I am getting the other locals. :confused:

I hear you brother! But the way the SHVIA reads, you live in one TV market or another. Nebraska is broken down this way:

Notice that there is no way in HELL that some one in Chase county could pick up the lincoln TV stations with an antenna. But they are still in the Lincoln TV market.

Who was drunk when they drew up DMA's for Nebraska??

Morill County is in Rapid City DMA, but the 2 counties North of it are in Denver??
Same with Aurthur County...kind of the oddball surrounded by Denevr DMA areas.

If your loc is right (Omaha), the reason you can't get FOX is there is a retransmition dispute between Pappas (the company that owns FOX in Omaha) and Dish.

Yep, I'm in Omaha dealing with pappas.

What's the story with the dispute?

Pappas owns some Azteca America stations, that Dish wants to put on the side satellite (61.5 or 148)

Pappas wants them to be on the main with the rest of a local market (and not requiring a 2nd dish)

So they are playing this "All or Nothing" game.....put all our channels on the main satellite or none at all.

aha, that makes more sense.

I called fox here on the 3rd and they said they were in negotiations with Dish and they thought within a month we would have Fox on Dish.
So when I saw this thread I got all excited.

Guess I'm still in a holding pattern for Fox.

This doesn't make much sense. Lincoln does not have an NBC station of its own; I assume it's going to pull in Omaha's. Lincoln does not have a FOX station, either. Omaha does, but is in that Pappas dispute (see above). So what was Lincoln's original plan for FOX, before it was "withdrawn"?

Also, I thought the FCC required that if you carry one local station, you had to carry them ALL.

The market is actually Lincoln/Hastings/Kearney DMA
The stations that would go up are
KLKN ABC 8

KHAS NBC 5 (out of Hastings)

yep...charge 3.99 until one is added...then 4.99 until all 4 networks are there
