At its convention in Las Vegas this week, the National Association of Broadcasters recognized the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and its implementation of an advanced national satellite Digital Video Compression (DVC) project with Telesat Canada and project partner, Tandberg Television. The project has allowed the CBC to put its English television network distribution satellite feeds on a single Telesat satellite transponder.
