The DBS Talk contest seems... unique to me. DirecTV subscribers can win a TiVo. DISH subscribers can win... a switch! Wow! I mean, a switch is neat and all, I'd be very grateful to get a switch although I would probably sell it off because I already have a switch. But, yeah, a switch. It's no PVR. :lol:

I don't want to really complain, the prizes are free so you can't complain. But... a switch. Is a switch. Switches aren't so bad. :)

I can understand where you are coming from. It's a switch mainly to keep the prizes of equal value. Also, since DishDepot has opened their new DirecTV store, this contest is geared more toward DirecTV users but we wanted to have something for Dish users giving everyone a reason to play. :)

I like the Direct TV store offer of a Tivo.

I just switched to Direct, I look forward to the Charlie chat so I can win a Tivo, and hear about the 811 and 921 shipping status and I am sure something about Viacom and how Charlie saved everyone $$$$

Are you talking about a switch of service from Dish to DTV? Or just a freaking dish network switch?

I mean I’ll take a DTV receiver and just switch from Dish to DTV? So I can get the dam Yes Network...
