I'm trying to update my DTV service address. The only thing I seem to be able to change online is my billing address and not my account address. Does anyone have a link to the correct page to change my service address?

If your a new customer with NO locals till next fall, how long should you wait before calling to move to a major city thats in your spot beam.
Will they wonder if its only been a month?

Good question!!! :D I moved to a grey area to possibly get CBS/FOX West HDTV.
Come on Cox, we want Seattle CBS HDTV. Quit fighting w/Comcast. :(

I waited about 6 hours.
So what do you do? Just randomly pick an address? Is it a no questions asked type deal?

I know of the address that I need to use, its been confirmed as not already having DBS.
Should I wait for at least the 30 day period so there is not question on charge backs for the vendor on the 2nd and 3rd receivers?
Did you really only wait 6 hours?

DirecTV doesn't care.
You can also try to email them via their support form on their web site. You might get lucky to get it changed without calling.
If you do call, you just tell the drone (no offense to CSR's) you want to change your service address but leave your billing address the same. They will do it with no questions asked. There are lots of legitimate reasons to do it anyway (summer cabin, kid off to college, paying for a disabled relative, dish at work location, etc.) so this is not an unusual request.

I was able to change my address a few weeks ago by emailing customer support.
