There are other choices like just not rated. This is ridicualous that I have to unlock my receiver to watch baseball.

Then change the rating, so that nr/ao isnt effected.

Sure and my kids can see what deserves that rating. Wouldn't it be better solution to rate MLB as NR----which would not be locked.

NR is by default AO to protect your children.

Perhaps Adult Guard and/or locking out individual channels with no ratings limit is an option.

Never heard of the Baseball Streakers or the 7th Inning Stretch.

Yeah but that 7th inning Scratch could be dangerous for kids eyes..:D

It's all that butt slapping, scratching, adjusting, etc. It's getting to be as bad as a rap video.

NR/AO is not the only rating they could asign. It is not assigned to other sports programming that I receive. Why not use the "NR" rating as opposed to the NR/AO? Is this done for NHL CI or the NBA package?

I'm having the same problem. I have to unlock the receiver each time I change
channels on EI. What a pain! I tried to adjust this in the ratings locks but the
stupid system designed by E* automatically selects NR/AO every time I try to
select any of the choices above it. For instance, if I choose to block just "G" rated
programming, the darn thing blocks everything else, including "PG", "R" etc.
I do have the option of deleting all of the locks but as Geronimo says, the kids will
see whatever deserves the rating. Can't E* design a "user friendly" system?

Again they could simply call it "NR" that would solve the problem. That is how the saem programming comes in from the RSNs---is it not. Why is there a problem?

Looks as though E* fixed the problem. Check it out.

Good to hear. I wonder if this thread or my email had anything to do with it. Maybe I finally did something constructive.

Unles they change the rest of the EI ratings, the problem will return.

All they need do is leave the rating blank.

Not sure I understand JohnH. How is it rated?

Looks like they got them all corrected now.

One "Off Air" segment still says "NR/AO", though. :D

Perhaps they have reason to believe one of the players will have a "wardrobe malfunction" :D :D
