Does anybody know if this will be real HD, or just that stretched BS they do most of the time?

Will the ABC games be in HD?

They had it scheduled to cover game 3,4,6 of Detroit vs Nashville, but it has been removed from their schedule!!!! http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/tvlistings/espnhd/index

Did one of their trucks blow up or something, cause this is BS! So I guess what will be in HD will remain a mystery. It would be Armageddon if the semis and Stanley's aren't in HD

I just tuned in to the game that's on now, and it looks like their stretched BS.

ESPN-HD is a joke.

Is this whole ESPN-HD thing just a joke to them, or what? They don't seem to take it even remotely seriously, and frequently list programming as "HD" even when it's just crappy stretch-vision.

This is in contrast to other networks which are taking HD much more seriously. Consider WGN in Chicago... They're now going to be broadcasting the home Cubs and White Sox games in HD starting next week. And we all know that HD Net seems to get a heck of a lot better HD sports coverage than ESPN-HD... Look how many high definition hockey games they show; there's practically one on every night!

I tried to tune into the game, I live in metro Detroit so it was blacked out! I was really hoping to catch the Wings in HDTV. It was broadcast on FOX Sports Detroit. I was hoping that since I pay additional $ every month for ESPN-HD that perhaps the blackout rules wouldn't apply (sort of like buying NFL Ticket), but apparently that is not the case.
